Emerging from the petri dish of humanity known as Detroit Lakes, MN, Gabe Noah has cut a wide swath of destruction through the comedy scene of his adopted home of Minneapolis. He has accumulated an impressive amount of credits and accolades in a relatively short time, culminating in a 2nd place finish in Acme Comedy Company's 2009 Funniest Person in the Twin Cities Contest.
He is a regular contributor and fan favorite of the local comedy and rock showcase LAUGH.ROCK.REPEAT. and has logged in appearances at Rick Bronson's House of Comedy, The Comedy Corner Underground, Station 4, and Goonies, among others. He considers his inclusion on the comedy cd "Farts:The Best of Rooftop Comedy.com" the crowning achievement of his budding career, as it proves you can earn recognition from flatulence.
Gabe started his writing career as an aspiring novelist, until he figured out that its easier to write jokes than well rounded characters, and applause breaks come along more often than three book deals. If there is any truth to the old adage that you write what you know, than Mr. Noah inhabits a twisted world indeed. Drawing from such disparate sources as pop culture, the tribulations of the world of retail sales, and the darkest recesses of his warped imagination, Gabe's sets can be likened to a bad case of crabs; a night of pleasure followed by weeks of itchy irration. He gleefully slaughters sacred cows with a twinkle in his eye, all the while flashing a devil may care grin. His ability to double audiences over with laughter while simultaneously attacking their sensibilities clearly marks him as one of the most original comedic voices of the vibrant Minneapolis comedy scene.
